Conceptualize
After a consultation with the client and reviewing their reference material, research and mind maps were created to generate ideas for the logo design. With this information, sketches were developed for the logo and apparel design.
With this project, the objective was to create a logo and jersey design for a local Ottawa Men’s Softball team, Hitmen Softball. The colours were predetermined by the client, with a request to design a masculine, modern logo for their team.
After a consultation with the client and reviewing their reference material, research and mind maps were created to generate ideas for the logo design. With this information, sketches were developed for the logo and apparel design.
Two versions of the logo were digitized and presented to the client. They selected their preferred design due to its simplicity and the versatility it provided with the wordmark and pictorial logos.
Once the logo design was approved by the client, apparel mockups were created using both renditions of the logo(wordmark and pictorial) for the jersey and cap respectively.
